Tulip-Shaped Deviled Eggs

Introduction:
These charming tulip-shaped deviled eggs are a creative and visually stunning appetizer, perfect for parties, brunches, or any special occasion. They combine hard-boiled egg whites, a creamy yolk filling, and green onion stems to mimic tulip leaves, and they are sure to impress your guests. Best of all, they are easy to prepare and delicious to eat!

Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (for stems)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Eggs:
    • Peel the hard-boiled eggs and cut a small “X” shape at the top of each egg, leaving the bottom intact. Gently open the petals without detaching them.
  2. Make the Filling:
    • Carefully scoop out the yolks into a bowl. Mash them with a fork.
    • Add mayonnaise, mustard, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Assemble the Tulips:
    • Fill a piping bag (or a plastic sandwich bag with a corner cut off) with the yolk mixture. Pipe the filling into the center of each egg white, allowing it to peek out like tulip petals.
  4. Create the Stems:
    • Insert a green onion into the bottom of each egg to resemble a tulip stem. Arrange the eggs on a platter to form a bouquet.
  5. Serve and Enjoy:
    • Chill the tulip-shaped deviled eggs in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

This delightful dish will add an elegant and fun touch to your table!
