  • 4 large potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or your choice)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Potatoes: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and dry the potatoes. Slice each potato thinly, making cuts about 1/8-inch apart, but don’t cut all the way through—stop about 1/4 inch from the bottom so the potato holds together.
