These tender garlic butter steak bites served with creamy mashed potatoes make for a perfect comforting meal. The steak bites are seared to perfection and coated in a rich garlic butter sauce, making each bite irresistibly flavorful. This dish is easy to make, yet packed with a gourmet taste!

Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Steak Bites:
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh chives or parsley, chopped for garnish
  • Mashed Potatoes:
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup milk (adjust for desired creaminess)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:
  • Boil the diced potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes and mash them with butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside and keep warm.
  1. Cook the Steak Bites:
  • Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  • Add the steak bites in a single layer (work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding). Sear the steak for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked to your preference. Remove and set aside.
  • Lower the heat to medium in the same skillet and add the remaining butter. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  • Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them in the garlic butter sauce. Sprinkle with chopped chives or parsley.
  1. Serve:
  • Plate the mashed potatoes and top with the garlic butter steak bites. Garnish with extra chives if desired.

Enjoy this delicious meal that’s sure to be a hit at the dinner table!
