Ingredients:

  • 1 fully cooked ham (about 4-5 pounds)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Place the ham in a roasting pan or slow cooker.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, orange juice, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and ground cloves (if using).
  4. Heat the glaze mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved and the glaze is smooth.
  5. Score the ham by making shallow cuts in a crisscross pattern on its surface.
  6. Pour half of the glaze over the ham, ensuring it covers all areas.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting with the remaining glaze every 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil for 15-20 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
  9. Let the ham rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
